Our core belief is simple yet powerful: “Do the right thing.” We are committed to addressing a pressing global issue – the disproportionately high unemployment rates among people with disabilities. Our vision is to create a world where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive and succeed, regardless of their unique challenges.
Many employers lack an understanding of the unique hurdles faced by people with disabilities.
Additionally, there is a lack of coaching and mentorship available to support their early career development. Moreover, social welfare challenges and limited exposure to the working environment during their teenage years contribute to this discrepancy.
Through thorough research we have identified that teenagers with disabilities do not engage in part-time employment to the same extent as their peers who don’t have a disability. Consequently, they may not possess the necessary skills to navigate common workplace challenges, such as receiving feedback, handling criticism, and managing professional interactions. Early intervention is paramount. By equipping teens with workplace skills and experiences from an early age, we empower them to face these challenges with confidence, paving the way for successful employment in the future.
